Classification of Glove Former Holders in Glove Production Lines

1. Single Glove Former Holder
Each production line uses a single row of molds, producing one glove per dip, curing, and stripping cycle.

Advantages: Simple structure, easy maintenance. Suitable for small-batch/high-precision production (e.g., medical examination gloves).Easier parameter adjustment (temperature, dipping time, etc.), ideal for sterile medical glove production. Disadvantages: Lower output and production efficiency compared to double-former production lines.

Types of Single Former Holders:

Fixed Single-Former Holder (Traditional Type): Suitable for manual/semi-automatic lines. Rotary Single-Former Holder (360° Rotation): Ensures more uniform material coating.

2. Double Formers Production Line Hand Mold Base
It uses two rows of molds, simultaneously producing two gloves per cycle, doubling efficiency.

Advantages: Increases production output by 40%-60% per unit time. Shorter production line length for the same capacity. Suitable for mass production (e.g., medical/industrial gloves during pandemics) and cost-sensitive manufacturing (e.g., nitrile gloves for food service). Disadvantages: Higher equipment complexity and maintenance costs. Requires precise synchronization control.

Common Double-Former Holders Types:

Symmetrical Double-Former Holder: Left and right molds operate synchronously (most common). Staggered Double-Former Holder: Optimizes oven airflow for better curing efficiency.

Modular Double-Former Design: Allows quick mold replacement for different sizes.

Maintenance Instructions for Glove Mold Holders

To avoid the hand mold base being corroded by strong acids, alkali, or other chemicals, the operator usually uses a soft cloth + neutral detergent to wipe the surface. For the production of gloves for medical purposes, the hand mold holder can be cleaned with alcohol or disinfectant wipes. Check the hand mold base regularly to prevent screws and fixtures from loosening, and use screw glue to fix if necessary. As the material is stainless steel, the operator should regularly check whether the hand mold holder has a rust phenomenon, slight rust can be polished with fine sandpaper + anti-rust oil treatment. Secondly, avoid scratching hard objects or long-term exposure to wet or smoky environments.
